This picture was released 7/26/2023 by NASA/ESA/CSA It was captured by James Webb Space Telescope taking a high-resolution image of a tightly bound pair of actively forming stars, known as Herbig-Haro 46/47.

The ? in the photo seems to be galaxies merging - the intense process through which galaxies collide.
Although it is too far to say for sure, the arc of question mark may come from the tidal interaction between galaxies and the dot as well may be a smaller galaxy.
Galaxies are often merging each other, even our galaxy is interacting with Andromeda galaxy. It is normal.

Merge between galaxies generates many beautiful images.
"Milky way" is the product of galaxy merger.
