23andMe, a company famous for its
genetic testing kits, is facing the risk
of running out of cash by next year
due to worsening financial
performance. The CEO, Anne
Wojcicki (the sister of former
YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki), who
founded the company with
investments from Google co-
founder Sergey Brin, has proposed
buying out all shares and taking the
company private. Recently, all of
23andMe’s board members
resigned.
