It seems that distributing sensitive
information through Telegram is no
longer safe. Telegram has introduced
a new privacy policy allowing them to
provide the phone numbers and IP
addresses of users suspected of
criminal activity to authorities. This
change came after Telegram CEO
Pavel Durov was arrested for
allegedly facilitating illegal activities.
A policy that once only applied to
terror suspects has now been
expanded to include all criminal
suspects.
