- July 31, 2024: Israel assassinated
Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh
in Tehran, the capital of Iran. He was
killed when his accommodation was
bombed after attending the
inauguration ceremony of the Iranian
president.

- September 2024: After Hamas lost
power, the conflict between Israel and
the Lebanese political group Hezbollah
intensified. Hezbollah continued missile
attacks on areas like the Golan
Heights, and Israel responded with
hundreds of airstrikes.

During this process, an incident
occurred where Hungarian-made
pagers carried by Hezbollah officials
simultaneously exploded under
mysterious circumstances. It is
estimated that at least 12 Hezbollah
officials died in this incident, which
took place in mid-September.

- September 29, 2024: Israel
assassinated Hezbollah leader Hassan
Nasrallah. Although he was in an
underground bunker in the Lebanese
capital, Beirut, a bunker-buster missile
killed him along with several key
officials. Iran's Revolutionary Guard
deputy commander also died in the
attack.

October 1, 2024: In response, Iran
launched around 180 ballistic missiles
at Israel, most of which were
intercepted by the joint Israeli and U.S.
defense systems.
